Bush restoration in a garden in the Waitākere foothills

The project was initiated by the clearance of weed infested undergrowth and talll weed trees on a residential section in West Auckland. We took the opprotunity to introduce a diversity of bush groundlayer plants and use the space and shade provided by tree ferns and kanuka to create a native garden to complement the house by Auckland Architect, Harry Turbott.
