Auckland public gardens

garden assessment • planning advice • garden and planting design • project implementation

We are a landscape architecture and garden design practice based in Auckland, designing gardens as far afield as Kerikeri and Canterbury. The founder, Nick Robinson, has an established reputation for highest quality design and project implementation in New Zealand and the UK. We are keen to promote sustainability through beautiful and wildlife friendly gardens, integrated organic food growing, creative storm-water design, green roofs and living walls, and innovative approaches to planting that emphasise habitat and ecosystem resilience alongside visual impact.

We can also help garden owners with planning issues and and resource consents, as well as tree advice and management. We have a great interest and expertise in resolving the apparent conflicts between the beauty and habitat value of large trees and the desire for sunlight and space in and around buildings. We create planting that is well adapted to the site, richly layered and has a strong sense of place and harmony.

We aim at all times to offer a highly responsive and attentive service, to add value to our client's property and to provide outcomes that exceed their expectations. Nick is a Professionally Accredited member of the Garden Design Society of New Zealand.
