To find out about our typical design process for residential sections see here.
Our approach to gardens is very "hands-on". We design and implement gardens, knowing that the craft of garden making is crucial to achieving the highest quality result. Care with construction materials and fitting to the site, and the selection and placing of each plant is important. As well as this intimate involvement at construction time, our continued interest and advice over the years as the garden develops ensures that the vision is realised. We aim to create extraordinary gardens of beauty and biodiversity, integrating this with food growing and highly functional outdoor space.
Here are some comments from residential garden clients:
‘Nick has a huge amount of knowledge and experience and presented us with some truly great ideas. His attention to creative detail was evident everywhere and we are absolutely delighted with the impact of his design.’ - Jon Bartlett & Ruth Pearson, 2013
'I'd like to thank you for all your hard work and ideas in designing and implementing the planting plan for Bushey Wood Road … it was like a breath of fresh air when you talked to us about the garden.
... We're absolutely delighted with the result ...
Your plant knowledge has really come to the fore and the balance of structure, height and colour has produced a great garden. All of our friends are staggered by the intensity of the planting, and the overall impression looks as if the garden has been here for years, when in fact at this time last year, we hadn't a single plant in the garden.'
- David & Jean Ogden 2013
